Appreciation and Reflection

Appreciation

I would like to thank a few people for helping me in this folio. Firstly, I would like to thank my English teacher, Puan Ng Bee Ling for teaching me and guiding me through this folio when I am at school. I would also like to thank my parents for guiding me at home. I want to thank my friends at school who have helped a lot.

Reflection

From this folio, I have learnt many things. I have learnt how to create a blog. I have also learnt the meaning of the word 'tolerance' and what is a conflict. Other than that, I have found out how to cool down when I am involve in a conflict. I found this folio very fun and interesting to do as I created it using my blog.

Conflict

What is a conflict?
A conflict means a disagreement or a misunderstanding.

The three ways to cool down.

  1. Take a time out, count to 10 and take a deep breath.

Coolness

Do I believe I am cool??
Yes, I do. I believe I am cool because I respect my friends and I do not get angry easily.
Below is a picture of one of my bestfriends named Jacey Hen. She is a very cool person. She is cool because she is always calm and respects all of her friends. She accepts everyone for who they are. She is kind to all her friends and never treats anyone badly.

Tolerance

What does tolerance mean?

Tolerance means the willingness to accept or tolerate expecially opinions or behaviour that you may not agree with or people who are not like you.

List of things that are cool.

1. Helpfulness

Story Review : Holes In The Fence

Title : Holes In The Fence

SYNOPSIS

This story is about a boy who has a very bad temper. Everyone did not like him because of his temper. All his friends and family left him. One day, the boy's father dressed as a servent and called his son "boss". The boy felt sad and guilty. He realised his mistakes. His father told him that every time he throws his temper, he has to hammer a nail into the fences. The boy agreed. On the first few days, he hammered many nails into the fence. As the days passed, he hammered lesser nails. Finally, he stopped hammering nails into the fences. He was happy because he had changed and he did not have his bad temper anymore.

I really liked this story. It was very interesting and it had a lot of morals. The best part of the story was when the boy's father dressed as a servant. That was very touching.

From this story, I have learnt that we must respect our family and friends. We must realise our mistakes and try to become a better person. I enjoyed this story very much.
